This policy explains what information FiveStar Replies (“we”, “us”) collects when you use fivestarreplies.com (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.FiveStar Replies is operated from Hong Kong.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your email address, when you create an account or sign in.
• Content you submit. The review text, star rating, business name, business type and tone you enter to generate replies. We send this to our AI provider to produce replies. We do not store the review text or the generated replies in our database.
• Usage information. How many replies your account generates each day, so we can apply plan limits.
• Billing information. If you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep your Stripe customer ID, subscription status and renewal date.
• Technical information. Your IP address is used briefly to apply free-usage limits for visitors who are not signed in. Our network provider may also process IP addresses and request logs for security.

How we use information

• To provide the Service: generate replies, sign you in and apply your plan.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send emails you request, such as sign-in links, and essential service or billing notices.
• To protect the Service from abuse, fraud and excessive automated use.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the Service:

• DeepSeek (AI processing). Review text and business details you submit are sent to DeepSeek to generate replies. DeepSeek processes data on servers in the People's Republic of China and handles it under its own privacy policy. Please do not include sensitive personal information about your customers, such as health or financial details, in the text you submit.
• Supabase (accounts and database).
• Stripe (payments and billing).
• Resend (sending emails such as sign-in links).
• Cloudflare (network delivery and security).

These providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States, the People's Republic of China and Hong Kong.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies, which keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies.

How long we keep information

We keep your account information while your account is active. Billing records may be kept longer where the law requires it. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.

Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls and reputable providers to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is meant for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
